Amazon Prime Gaming Drops 14 Free PC Games in October, Including Fallout New Vegas and XCOM 2

Amazon Prime Gaming Drops 14 Free PC Games in October, Including Fallout New Vegas and XCOM 2

October 5, 2025 Off By Ibraheem Adeola

Amazon Prime subscribers just hit the jackpot: this October, Prime Gaming is giving away 14 PC titles, anchored by heavy hitters like Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition, and the tactical legend XCOM 2. If you’re a Prime member, you can claim all of them to keep; no strings, no subscriptions needed after you redeem them. Unlike PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass, where your game library disappears if you cancel, these are yours forever as digital codes. You’ll get to redeem them across GOG, the Amazon Games App, and Legacy Games.

The October lineup doesn’t just drop classics. Amazon’s got Halloween on its mind with a solid mix of survival horror and supernatural adventures alongside the iconic RPGs. Here’s what’s up for grabs and when you can snag it:

  • Available Now:
    DragonStrike (GOG)
    Tormented Souls (Amazon Games App)
  • October 9:
    XCOM 2 (GOG)
Vampire: The Masquerade – Reckoning of New York (Amazon Games App)
  • October 16:
    Empty Shell (GOG)
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (GOG)
True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 1 (GOG)
  • October 23:
    Hellslave (GOG)
True Fear: Forsaken Souls Part 2 (GOG)
Lost & Found Agency: Collector’s Edition (Legacy Games)
Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition (GOG)
  • October 30:
You Will Die Here Tonight (GOG)
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest (Amazon Games App)
Halloween Stories: Horror Movie Collector’s Edition (Amazon Games App)

From battling ghouls in Tormented Souls to taking on aliens in XCOM 2, and venturing through the wasteland of Fallout: New Vegas, there’s a lot to pack in, even before you consider niche horrors like Empty Shell or the eerie True Fear duology.

How Prime Gaming Works: Your Games Are Yours to Keep

Prime Gaming claims aren’t bound to your subscription. Each free game comes as a redeemable code at launch, and once you claim it, it’s yours. GOG is leading the charge again as a redemption platform, putting ownership back in your hands, no rental, no recurring fees.

To sweeten the deal, Prime members also get access to Amazon’s Luna cloud streaming library. This month on Luna, you can dive into titles like Borderlands 3, Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition, SpongeBob: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, and MotoGP 25. These Luna games may rotate out, but the PC game giveaways are permanent keeps once claimed. And if you act quickly, there’s still time to grab some of September’s Prime Gaming freebies. Civilization 4: The Complete Edition, Fate: The Cursed King, and Into the Breach are all still available as of this writing.
