PlayStation: The Concert Faces Wave of Cancellations Across Europe—2026 Tour in Jeopardy
October 15, 2025PlayStation: The Concert is rapidly shrinking. What was supposed to be a roaring celebration of three decades of PlayStation music is now barely hanging on, especially in Europe. Five out of six European dates set for March 2026 have been cut or quietly erased from venues’ official calendars.
Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland fans were among the first to notice. Concerts originally scheduled in Brussels, Düsseldorf, Zurich, and Munich are now either officially cancelled or nowhere to be found on venue websites. Only Budapest’s March 10 show is clinging on, and even that one is struggling to sell tickets.
Broken Tour Promises and Fan Frustration
This string of cancellations isn’t a fresh problem. PlayStation: The Concert has been beset by chaos from the beginning. Since being announced, the show’s itinerary has twisted, turned, postponed, and, in many cases, vanished entirely.
Earlier this year, word broke that concerts in Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Italy, and Austria had been wiped from the schedule. Many 2025 performances were pushed back to March 2026 in hopes of salvaging the ambitious tour. That hope barely lasted into autumn.

It’s not just Europe, either. All remaining North American dates for 2025, including cities like Atlanta, Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, were axed last week. The promise of bringing PlayStation’s musical past to life in packed arenas is crumbling on both sides of the Atlantic.
The latest update leaves only this lineup in Europe:
- March 6 – ING Arena, Brussels, Belgium – cancelled
- March 7 – PSD Bank Dome, Düsseldorf, Germany – cancelled
- March 8 – Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland – cancelled (reported by fans on X)
- March 9 – Olympiapark, Munich, Germany – cancelled
- March 12 – Uber Arena, Berlin, Germany – date removed from venue site
- March 10 – Laszlo Papp Arena, Budapest, Hungary – still scheduled
German fans have voiced their disappointment loud and clear. “Never seen such an unorganised and non-transparent event as PlayStation: The Concert,” one wrote online, calling out the lack of communication and last-minute shuffling. Another user added, “PlayStation: The Concert, which was already postponed once, now appears to be cancelled in several German cities.”
What Went Wrong?

It’s clear something is amiss behind the scenes. The Munich Olympic Hall put out a blunt statement: “Due to unexpected reasons beyond our control, we regret to inform you that PlayStation: The Concert, scheduled for 9 March 2026 at the Olympic Hall in Munich, will not take place. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase.”
No further explanation has been offered for the collapse of the European leg, either from PlayStation or its concert partners. The lack of answers has only added to the frustration.
PlayStation: The Concert was billed as a star-studded showcase, pulling together music from iconic titles like The Last of Us (Gustavo Santaolalla), Horizon (Joris De Man), Ghost of Tsushima (Ilan Eshkeri), and God of War (Bear McCreary), among others. Fans were promised a sweeping journey through gaming history, live, on stage. Now, that vision is fading fast.
Budapest remains the only European city standing, for now. Even there, ticket sales look weak, with plenty of unsold seats still available.
Oddly, while 2025 is essentially wiped from the calendar, PlayStation: The Concert still lists 25+ dates in North America for early 2026, including stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto. Time will tell whether these concerts will weather the storm, but confidence isn’t high.
