Xbox presents it as a catalogue title, not as a trial, free-to-play launch or subscriber perk.
September 15: TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 has conflicting official dates
TCG Card Shop Simulator is the entry that requires caution. The September 11 Xbox Wire weekly roundup lists its 1.0 release for September 14. However, Xbox’s September Game Pass announcement lists September 15, and the current Microsoft Store page for TCG Card Shop Simulator also displays a September 15, 2026 release date.
September 15 is therefore the better-supported planning date at the time of writing because two first-party references agree on it. It should still be treated as provisional until Xbox corrects or otherwise resolves the discrepancy.

That reward is separate from the free-to-play base game and should not be confused with a new Game Pass catalogue addition.
The Store page also lists paid pre-order packs. Those are separate paid products alongside the free-to-play game.
