Xbox Wire lists 31 releases across Xbox consoles and PC for September 14–18, 2026, but the three entries carrying a Game Pass label do not offer subscribers the same kind of access.

The practical summary is that RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the clear Game Pass catalogue addition on September 15. Aniimo is a free-to-play launch on September 16 with a separate Game Pass reward pack. TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 is best supported for September 15, although Xbox has also published a September 14 date.

This guide focuses on those three Game Pass-linked listings rather than treating all 31 releases as subscription additions. Xbox Wire also warns that release dates are subject to change, so check the relevant Store page before planning around a precise unlock time.

September 15: RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the clear catalogue addition

Xbox’s September Game Pass announcement lists RuneScape: Dragonwilds for September 15 on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The announcement names Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass as the eligible plans. This is the most straightforward subscription release of the three. Xbox presents it as a catalogue title, not as a trial, free-to-play launch or subscriber perk.

September 15: TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 has conflicting official dates

TCG Card Shop Simulator is the entry that requires caution. The September 11 Xbox Wire weekly roundup lists its 1.0 release for September 14. However, Xbox’s September Game Pass announcement lists September 15, and the current Microsoft Store page for TCG Card Shop Simulator also displays a September 15, 2026 release date.

September 15 is therefore the better-supported planning date at the time of writing because two first-party references agree on it. It should still be treated as provisional until Xbox corrects or otherwise resolves the discrepancy.

Planning note: Do not assume the September 14 entry is final. Recheck the Microsoft Store listing and Xbox’s Game Pass channels on the day if you want to start playing as soon as version 1.0 becomes available.

There is also an important subscription distinction. Xbox places the 1.0 launch under Game Updates in its September Game Pass post, not under the standard Coming Soon catalogue section. It is consequently more accurate to describe this as a Game Pass-supported full-release update than as an entirely new addition to the service.

The Store page includes Game Pass availability language and identifies Premium and Ultimate for cloud play, but the available official material does not provide a complete, unambiguous tier table for the 1.0 update. Players should not assume that every Game Pass plan is included without checking their own subscription and the current Store listing.

September 16: Aniimo is free-to-play, with a Game Pass benefit

Aniimo is scheduled to arrive on September 16 as a free-to-play game for Xbox Series X|S and PC, according to the official Xbox Store page. Game Pass is therefore not being presented as the means of gaining access to the base game.

Its Game Pass connection is a subscriber benefit instead. Xbox places Aniimo under In-Game Benefits in the September update and says Game Pass subscribers can unlock an exclusive monthly reward pack beginning September 16. That reward is separate from the free-to-play base game and should not be confused with a new Game Pass catalogue addition.

The Store page also lists paid pre-order packs. Those are separate paid products alongside the free-to-play game.

What about the other Xbox releases from September 14–18?

Xbox Wire’s weekly roundup covers the wider release schedule for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Xbox on PC, including titles beyond the three Game Pass-linked entries explained here. Use the official day-by-day Xbox release list to browse those games, then check each Microsoft Store page for its current price, supported platforms and release timing.

The key distinction is that a Game Pass label does not always mean a new catalogue game. For this week, RuneScape: Dragonwilds is the confirmed catalogue addition, TCG Card Shop Simulator 1.0 is a Game Pass-supported update with an unresolved date discrepancy, and Aniimo is a free-to-play release offering subscribers a separate in-game reward.
