Fallout Season 2 Drops Early: Amazon Moves Premier Up, Surprises Fans With New Cast
December 17, 2025Amazon has decided to drop the second season premiere of its hit Fallout series a full day earlier than originally planned. If you’re in the UK, that means you can catch the first episode on Prime Video from 2 am on December 17. Stateside, the wasteland opens up even sooner: 9 pm in New York and 6 pm in Los Angeles, all happening “in just a matter of hours.”
The official Fallout account made the announcement with a little cheek: “Well, well, looks like Christmas came early.” That tease landed alongside video from Las Vegas’s Sphere, lighting up to mark the new date. Amazon has also put out a handy infographic with exact release times for fans around the globe.
Weekly Release Schedule and Returning — Plus New — Faces
Season two won’t be a binge-fest. New episodes drop weekly after the initial premiere, running all the way through February 4. That should keep theorists and lore detectives busy through the winter.
