March 24, 2026Picross S: Konami Antiques Collection launches 30 April 2026 on the Nintendo Switch eShop, delivering 585 puzzles based on over 80 8-bit and 16-bit Konami games, including icons like Castlevania and Metal Gear. This marks the ninth licensed Picross spin-off by Jupiter.
Konami and Jupiter have officially announced Picross S: Konami Antiques Collection, a Switch eShop exclusive set for release on 30 April 2026. The project, developed by Picross veterans Jupiter, draws content from Konami’s extensive 8-bit and 16-bit catalogue, with puzzles using pixel art sprites from titles such as Castlevania, Gradius, Metal Gear, Contra, and less commercially known games including Esper Dream, Jikkyou Power Pro Wrestling 96, and Wai Wai World 2.
The core gameplay remains true to the Picross formula: players use numerical clues to decide which squares to fill on a grid, gradually revealing Konami sprite art once each puzzle is solved. Jupiter will supply a total of 585 Picross puzzles themed around 80+ retro Konami titles.
