Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack reportedly arrives October 13
October 4, 2026The final Year One content drop for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is reported to arrive on October 13.
The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Avatar Legends Pack is reported to arrive on October 13, 2026. The final Year One content drop adds Aang, Katara, a new vehicle and a new track, and it is included with the existing Season Pass.
The release date was reported by Nintendo Life and Nintendo Everything, with both outlets attributing it to a new SEGA announcement. A directly retrievable SEGA page confirming the exact date was not available during research, so October 13 should be described as the reported date rather than a date independently verified from a current SEGA post.
Avatar Legends Pack release details at a glance
- Reported release date: October 13, 2026
- Year One status: Reported as the final content drop
- Season Pass access: Included with the existing pass
- Standalone purchase: Planned, but the current U.S. price is unconfirmed
What is included in the Avatar Legends Pack?
SEGA previously identified Avatar Legends as the sixth DLC pack in the original Season Pass and gave it an October 2026 window in a June 2026 roadmap announcement.
The publisher-provided description on the official Xbox Season Pass listing names the following content:
- Playable racers Aang and Katara
- The Gliding Air vehicle
- The Lion Turtle Island track
- Six emotes for each character
- Additional sounds
SEGA’s June announcement also said the pack would contain Avatar-inspired music. No additional character variants or gameplay mechanics were confirmed in the sources reviewed for this update.
Do existing Season Pass owners need to buy it again?
No additional purchase should be required for players who already own the existing Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season Pass. The official Xbox listing includes the Avatar Legends Pack in the pass and states that content from the bundle will also be sold separately.
Players without the pass should therefore be able to buy the pack separately once it is available. However, the official listings reviewed for this update do not confirm a standalone U.S. price.
The Nintendo U.S. eShop DLC page lists the complete Season Pass at $29.99, but it does not display a dollar price for Content Pack 6. That Season Pass price should not be presented as the standalone price of the Avatar pack.
Why Nintendo’s December 31 listing does not confirm a delay
Nintendo’s U.S. eShop currently displays December 31, 2026 for Content Pack 6. That conflicts with the October 13 date reported by Nintendo Life and Nintendo Everything from SEGA’s newer announcement.
The store entry may be placeholder or stale metadata, but its purpose has not been confirmed. On the available evidence, it does not establish that the Avatar Legends Pack has been delayed. The conflict should remain noted until Nintendo or SEGA updates an official listing.
What has not been confirmed
Several practical launch details remain unresolved in the sources reviewed:
- The standalone U.S. price
- Regional or platform-specific unlock times
- Whether every supported platform will receive the pack simultaneously
- The reason for Nintendo’s December 31 store date
For now, existing Season Pass owners should expect the Avatar Legends Pack to be included without another purchase. Players planning to buy it separately may want to wait for their platform store to publish the individual price and local availability details.
While games are fun, it’s highly important to note that there’s more to life than sitting countless hours playing video games – there’s a purpose and more to life; seek out that purpose more often!
