Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Have The Most Mindless Superman Version

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Have The Most Mindless Superman Version

August 4, 2021 Off By TheDashDouble

Since fans haven’t heard much about the impending Suicide Squad game in a long time, there’s been a lot of conjecture online. Expectations for the game are mainly high, given that the squad has been at the heart of DC’s multimedia ambitions for the last few years, including the imminent release of a new Suicide Squad film. Suicide Squad distinguishes itself from other games released by the studio in that it has Superman as the main nemesis.

Superman is arguably one of the most powerful fictional characters, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League appears to use DC Comics’ Kryptonian might as the central villain. The Son of Krypton possesses a wide range of skills and capabilities that dominates not just the eponymous Suicide Squad, but also the majority of the DC universe. Because of the substantial power disparity, some form of power loss or other impediments may be implemented, but if Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League wants to utilize the notion of an unfriendly Superman, then he must be at his very best.

The success of Injustice: Gods Among Us, as well as previous storylines in DC’s history, has demonstrated that embracing Batman’s biggest fear can result in exciting narratives and action. Therefore, exploring the idea of going against a brainwashed Superman would make a lot of sense in the Suicide Squad game. When Superman goes berserk, he’s outright frightening. The Kryptonian is a one-of-a-kind threat, with the strength to move earth, speed to rival the Flash, and a variety of long-range capabilities. Keeping Superman at the peak of his abilities throughout the game will go a long way toward highlighting Amanda Waller’s plotting and Task Force X’s unconventional ways of operation.

Here is the teaser trailer:

It’s apparent that defeating Superman would be a very difficult task. As Zachery Carnley pointed out In Justice League: Doom, a notable example of an innovative way of taking down Superman was shown. The immortal Vandal Savage stole Batman’s contingency plans for the event that the Justice League turned bad, including the one needed to destroy Superman. Therefore, Harley Quinn and the rest of the Suicide Squad must devise an equally devious strategy to destroy Superman. Suicide Squad hasn’t been shown much beyond its first teaser. Superman used his heat vision to kill a soldier in that teaser, which showed the apparent body of a gigantic Brainiac. In that case, it would be a simple narrative technique to claim that Brainiac is manipulating the hero and that he doesn’t have complete control over his abilities.

In light of these, Suicide Squad needs Superman to be as powerful as he can be if it wants to make its point.
