Xbox Game Pass October 2026 wave 2: Final Fantasy VII dates, plans and removals
October 21, 2026Here are the arrival dates, confirmed plan differences and upcoming removal dates.
Xbox announced its second October 2026 Game Pass wave on October 20, led by Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on October 29. Subscribers should check the plan details rather than treating the lineup as universal: some games include Game Pass Premium, while others are listed only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Xbox Wire’s official announcement covers arrivals from October 21 through November 3, followed by separate removal dates. Sandustry is also an access expansion rather than a newly announced Game Pass debut because it is already available through Premium.
Xbox Game Pass October 2026 wave 2 calendar
- October 21: Sandustry — already available with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
- October 22: Dodo Duckie — arrives on Game Pass.
- October 26: Scramble Knights Online — a day-one Game Pass release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
- October 27: The Séance of Blake Manor — arrives on Game Pass, including Game Pass Premium.
- October 29: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade — available for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
- October 29: Mouthwashing — arrives on Game Pass, including Game Pass Premium.
- October 29: Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted — listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but not Premium.
- October 29: Terrible Lizards — a day-one release listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but not Premium.
- November 3: Pit of Goblin — arrives on Game Pass.
Scramble Knights Online and Terrible Lizards are the two games Xbox explicitly identifies as day-one Game Pass releases. Xbox has not supplied regional unlock times, so the dates should not be read as guarantees of a particular local release hour.
Which Game Pass plans include Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade?
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade joins Game Pass on October 29 for cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Xbox lists it for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. Game Pass Essential is not listed for the game.
The Intergrade package includes FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, the side story starring Yuffie Kisaragi. This is a Game Pass catalogue arrival rather than the game’s Xbox debut: the official Xbox Store gives its Xbox release date as January 22, 2026.
Premium subscribers should pay particular attention to the October 29 entries. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Mouthwashing include Premium access, while Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and Terrible Lizards do not. Scramble Knights Online, arriving three days earlier, is also listed only for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
For same-month context, readers can compare this wave with Xbox’s earlier October Game Pass schedule.
Games leaving Game Pass on October 31 and November 10
Nine games are scheduled to leave Game Pass on October 31. The list includes Deep Rock Galactic, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Wartales. The other departing titles are listed in Xbox’s official October update.
Football Manager 26 and Football Manager 26 Console Edition have a later removal date of November 10. Xbox has not said how long Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade or the other incoming games will remain in the catalogue.
While games are fun, it’s highly important to note that there’s more to life than sitting countless hours playing video games – there’s a purpose and more to life; seek out that purpose more often!
