Hogwarts Legacy, the much-anticipated open-world action role-playing game set in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, has captured the hearts of gamers worldwide. The game offers plenty of hidden gems for Harry Potter fans, including a side quest called Solved by the Bell, which has unique mechanics and multiple steps that make it one of the best quests in the game. This guide will show you how to complete the Solved by the Bell quest by first finding the elusive Musical Map.

How to find the Musical Map in Hogwarts Legacy

The first step in completing the Solved by the Bell side quest is to find the Musical Map, which can be located in Henrietta’s Hideaway in the Manor Cape area of the world map. While doing the “Rescuing Rococo” side quest, you may pick up the map while at it. It’ll come in handy when you need to visit this secret spot. Once there, you must clear out the area and make your way through the first room by using Accio or Wingardium Leviosa to move the cube onto the circle with the icicle on it, then casting Glacius to make it glow.

Standing on the circle with the picture of the flame and casting Incendio will open the door to the next room. Defeat the enemies in the next room and continue on the path to the right until you encounter an enchanted section of flooring. Cast Arresto Momentum to disable the enchantment and gain access to a large chamber. Defeat all enemies and look for a secret passageway in the wall on the right, which will lead you to the Musical Map.

Completing the Solved by the Bell Puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy

With the Musical Map in hand, you must make your way to Clagmar Castle, east of Manor Cape. Once there, clear out all enemies and locate the tower with nine bells. To complete the quest, players must hit the bells in the following order:

• The bell on the bottom right
• The third bell down on the left
• The second bell down on the left
• The second bell down on the right
• The third bell down on the left
• The top bell on the left
• The top bell on the right
• The second bell down on the right

After hitting the bells in the correct order, you will hear a familiar melody and a special treasure chest will appear to your left. Inside the chest, you will find the Treasure-Seeker’s Longcoat, a cosmetic item that can be used to change the appearance of certain gear. Additionally, you will receive 400 Galleons and 180 XP.

In addition, while most of the side quests in Hogwarts Legacy are more generic than Solved by the Bell, there are still other unique quests in the game. One such quest is Minding Your Own Business, which offers a different experience than other quests in the game. Unfortunately, this quest is exclusive to PlayStation players, leaving Xbox and PC players out of the loop.
