These safes hold valuable loot, from cash to critical gear that can boost your character’s strength with perks and other goodies. But these safes are no easy find—they’re hidden well, and cracking them requires more than just luck. In this guide, we’ll walk you through every safe location in each of the nine missions of the campaign and how to unlock them for maximum rewards.

How to Crack Safes in Black Ops 6
In Black Ops 6, decoding safes isn’t as simple as stumbling upon a combination scribbled on a post-it. You’ll need to find and tune into radio frequencies to uncover the combination. Radios will alert you when you’re nearby with a signal strength indicator. As you approach the correct area, the signal will shift from weak to medium and eventually strong, guiding you to the exact spot.
Once you’ve found the radio, interact with it, and match the oscillating waveforms in a mini-game. Once you align the frequency, a voice will read off the combination to the nearby safe. Plug in the numbers, and you’ll unlock a cache of money and gear to help power up your loadout for the mission ahead.
Mission 1: Blood Feud
- Safe Location:
In Blood Feud, you’ll team up with Sev and head to a restaurant meeting where the action begins. After infiltrating the restaurant via a vent (you can access it from the alley), you’ll enter an office space where the safe is located. The safe is against the wall to the right of the desk in the office, and the radio for the combination is placed on a table beside the door.
Mission 2: Most Wanted
- Safe Location:
In the Most Wanted mission, you’ll be attending a high-profile event and sneaking around to find the CIA black site beneath it. The safe here is located within a roped-off area behind the bar. Look for the gold curtains in the banquet hall; sneaking through them will allow you to bypass guards. The safe itself is behind the white walls in a restricted area, with the radio nearby behind the bar.
Mission 3: Hunting Season
- Safe Location:
This mission is vast, and the safe is hidden in one of the Pantheon camps you raid. Head to the Village—a ruined town swarming with enemies—located west of the map. Once cleared, find the three-story central building with yellow lights. Both the safe and the radio for its combination are located on the second floor, with the safe inside a well-lit kitchen.
Mission 4: The Cradle
- Safe Location:
In The Cradle, you’ll storm Saddam Hussein’s palace, but the safe is located in a smaller flanking building before you breach the main palace. Enter the building on the left side of the palace, and head up to the second floor. You’ll find the radio on a table at the top of the stairs, with the safe set into the wall to the left.
Mission 5: Emergence
- Safe Location:
During Emergence, explore the Cognitive Research wing. Upon reaching a T-shaped intersection, go right into a hallway lined with cinderblock walls leading to a locker room. The safe is immediately to the left of the door inside the locker room, and the radio can be found near the washing machines within the same room.
Mission 6: High Rollers
- Safe Location:
In this mission’s casino heist, you’ll play as Sev as she enters the restricted area with a reprogrammed keycard. After clearing enemies in a checkered-tiled room, look for the elevator you need to unlock. The radio is near the elevator, and the safe is behind a folding partition in an alcove to the right of the elevator.
Mission 7: Ground Control
- Safe Location:
The Ground Control mission is a firefight through an airport terminal. As you approach the Information desk near a departures sign, you’ll find the radio behind the desk. The safe is hidden in an office area accessed through a door near a pair of vending machines, with the safe set into the back wall.
Mission 8: Under The Radar
- Safe Location:
For Under The Radar, you’ll infiltrate a Pantheon base while in disguise. The safe and radio are both found in a two-story radio building. The radio is on the second floor next to a soldier on the phone, and the safe is in a restricted area behind the soldier, accessible by picking a lock.
Mission 9: The Safe House
- Safe Location:
The final safe is located in the safe house itself, found early in the campaign in Adler’s bedroom on the second floor. The challenge lies in retrieving the code. You’ll need to solve puzzles in the bunker beneath the safe house, which is accessible after obtaining clues from a note in the firing range shed. This puzzle includes unlocking a door with a piano and activating a boiler in the basement to finally get the code.
