Big Games Coming In 2022

Just like 2019 and 2020, 2021 has also been quite an uneventful year due to the pandemic. So many industries have been greatly affected during this trying time and the gaming industry isn’t left out. During these times, the gaming industry has been faced with a series of setbacks ranging from developers’ turnover to delayed release dates. However, it does seem that the gaming industry never slumber. Every month of the year features at least a few notable games from large studios, as well as a flurry of small projects aimed at a niche audience. Games such as Resident Evil Village, Forza Horizon 5, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Deathloop, Battlefield 2042 are just a few of the top PS5 and PS4 games released in 2021.

While some PS5 games have been given firm release dates, others have just been rumoured. This write-up beginning from November will include games that have been released, are upcoming, and are rumoured to be released on future dates. The month of November 2021 has been one of the eventful years of 2021 of the gaming industry. Big Games Coming In 2022

The year 2022 is shaping up to be a big one for the PS5, and the first few months are shaping up to be particularly exciting. In January, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction will be released, and February 2022 will be jam-packed with titles including Sifu and Elden Ring. With the PS5 editions of GTA 5 and GTA Online, Gran Turismo 7, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, March 2022 keeps the trend going. Furthermore, both Hogwarts Legacy and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum have the potential to be among the best games in their respective franchises.

Big Games Rumored In Development

Some of the most eagerly anticipated games are still in production and have yet to announce a release date. Final Fantasy 16 and Persona 6 will be released soon, while the futures of Deep Down and Wild remain uncertain. Due to Starfield’s Xbox exclusivity, The Elder Scrolls 6’s PlayStation future is in doubt. Projects such as the upcoming BioShock and TimeSplitters are likely still a few years away from completion.
