BIGGEST GAMES OF 2021 AND RELEASE DATES

July 11, 2021 Off By TheDashDouble

Following a slow start to the year, games such as New Pokemon Snap, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Resident Evil Village injected new life into the 2021 gaming world. Moreover, following E3 in June, it’s quite clear what to expect in the second half of the year. We can expect games such as Forza, Marvel games, and Metroid as well as an updated Switch model, which was announced in July. The below list consists of 5 of the biggest games released in the year 2021.

Far Cry 6

Released date: October 7, 2021

Far Cry 6 was originally scheduled to be released in February 2021, however, it was pushed back until October. It is the biggest and most feature-packed Far Cry ever, set in the tropical region of Yara, which is partly modelled on Cuba. The game is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia, as well as Amazon’s Luna platform.  Far Cry 6 is in three separate editions: Standard, Gold, and Ultimate Edition.

All editions for Far Cry 6 are currently available for Order with a higher store advantage.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Released date: October 26.

The Avengers is Square Enix’s constantly evolving Marvel action game, which recently just added Black Panther and Ms Marvel. The Guardians of the Galaxy is a stand-alone adventure in which you can only play as Star-Lord. Surprisingly, there isn’t a multiplayer mode, but the makers claim that this will allow for a more concentrated and unified story experience.

Grand Theft Auto V

Released date: November 11.

Grand Theft Auto V is still a best-selling game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and it’ll be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 11th.

Note: If you own an Xbox One or Series X|S, you can play the game right now on Game Pass.

Halo Infinite

Released date: Fall 2021.

Halo Infinite was supposed to be the big thing that came alongside the Xbox Series X|S, but it was delayed until the fall of 2021 due to poor fan reception to a preview last year. Most Xbox users will want to play this game only because of the Halo name, and creators 343 Industries are trying something different by making the multiplayer free-to-play.

Forza Horizon 5

Released date: November 9, 2021

Gran Turismo 7 may have been postponed, but the Xbox’s most popular racing franchise was not. At E3, a trailer for Forza Horizon 5 was released, displaying the open-world racing game’s new digs in Mexico. You already know the deal if you’ve played a Forza Horizon game: It looks stunning, and it’ll almost certainly be a smash hit.

Forza Horizon 5 will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in addition to Xbox Series X|S.

Battlefield 2042

Released date: October 22.

Battlefield 2042 is the first new Battlefield game since Battlefield V in 2018, and it focuses entirely on multiplayer. There is no single-player campaign, and the storyline, which takes place on a planet destabilized by climate change, is only available in multiplayer. Many fans of the franchise will be happy with this, as Battlefield is mostly about online multiplayer action, which there will be plenty of.
