Square Enix Drops Physical Twin Pack for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth on PS5

Square Enix Drops Physical Twin Pack for Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth on PS5

October 11, 2025 Off By Ibraheem Adeola

Square Enix is finally putting both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth on the same disc for PS5, with the long-awaited physical double pack landing on December 4. This is the first time you’ll be able to own the first two massive chapters of the Remake trilogy together, no digital download codes, no waiting around for individual releases, just both games in one sleek package.

The “Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Twin Pack Physical Edition” (take a breath after saying that) is priced at $59.99 / €69.99 / £59.99. You can lock in your copy through the official Square Enix store right now.

Why This Twin Pack Matters for Final Fantasy Fans

If you’ve been holding out for a killer value, this deal is impossible to ignore. Rebirth alone goes for £69.99 on the PlayStation Store, so getting both titles physically for less than the digital price of one is better than most would’ve dared hope for.

Both games are the cornerstone of the ongoing Remake trilogy, which reimagines the legendary PS1 classic. If you haven’t jumped in yet or have just been waiting for a more permanent addition to your shelf, this is Square Enix giving fans what they’ve begged for since the first Remake dropped.

The packaging? Pretty slick. You get the main title art, straight from Square’s iconic vault, uniting two generations of Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth with one purchase. It’s the easiest way to catch up before the much-teased trilogy finale, whenever that arrives.

Will We See a Double Pack on Xbox or Switch 2?

For now, this physical twin pack is a PS5 exclusive. There’s no word yet on whether Xbox or Nintendo Switch 2 will see their own editions. Here’s what’s confirmed: Final Fantasy 7 Remake is scheduled to launch on both Xbox and Switch 2 on January 22. Rebirth is set to follow, but there’s zero info on a date or whether these platforms will get double packs.

There’s an interesting twist for Xbox and Switch 2 owners. Those versions of Remake will include “Pixel Remaster-style” gameplay boosts to help you speed up or tweak your adventure, similar to what’s been seen in recent Final Fantasy re-releases. These features will also be patched into PS5 and PC versions later, so every platform eventually gets the same convenience.

Fans are already speculating, when the trilogy is complete, does that mean a giant triple pack box is inevitable? The odds seem pretty likely, but remember, it took this long just to get a twin pack in the first place. Don’t expect to see a trilogy box at launch whenever the third game drops.

If you’re a collector, a first-timer, or just want to make sure you have both squares of the Remake puzzle on your shelf, December 4 is the day to circle. This physical twin pack isn’t just about getting both games; it’s about having the definitive, upgraded experience, waiting on your bookshelf or your console menu.
