Pokémon XP Interest List Opens: TCG Artists, Workshops, and Ticket Details for Moscone Center 2026

Pokémon XP Interest List Opens: TCG Artists, Workshops, and Ticket Details for Moscone Center 2026

July 2, 2026 Off By Ibraheem Adeola

The interest list for Pokémon XP 2026 is now officially open, offering signups for Pokémon TCG artist signings, Lego workshops, and meet-and-greets ahead of the 28–30 August event at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. Veteran artists Yuka Morii, Tika Matsuno, and Naoki Saito will headline autograph sessions, with strict pre-registration required to manage demand.

The Pokémon XP event, scheduled for Friday, 28 August through Sunday, 30 August 2026, will return to the Moscone Center and employ the Pokémon Company’s interest list system. This system, designed to reduce queues and streamline access to popular experiences, allows attendees to register for high-demand activities including Pokémon TCG artist signings, specialist workshops, and limited-access meet-and-greets. The interest list closes on 3 August, and successful applicants will be notified via email by or before 14 August.

The Pokémon XP interest list is a pre-registration platform introduced in recent years by the Pokémon Company specifically to prevent long lines at appearances by key figures like Pokémon TCG artists and Pokémon developers. For 2026, the following are notable features and requirements:

  • Location: Moscone Center, San Francisco
  • Dates: 28 August (Friday) to 30 August (Sunday), 2026
  • Interest List Opens: 1 July 2026
  • Interest List Closes: 3 August 2026
  • Notification Deadline: 14 August 2026 via email
  • Featured TCG Artists: Yuka Morii (renowned for clay Pokémon artwork, latest card: Manky), Tika Matsuno, Naoki Saito, and Jerky
  • Workshop Offering: Clay Pokémon sculpture workshop led by Yuka Morii
  • Signing Policy: “Pokémon TCG artists don’t sign trading cards during official Pokémon events; instead, attendees receive large posters of the TCG art, which are then signed.”
  • Pokémon Center Pop-Up: Special pop-up Pokémon Center present on-site
  • Lego Workshop: Special sessions available for registered attendees

Tickets are available now, priced at $120 for adults and $70 for kids. Multi-day passes, required for access to Championship Sunday at the arena, are priced at $150 for adults and $120 for kids.

How the Pokémon XP Interest List Works

The Pokémon Company’s interest list system is used “to prevent large queues from forming during Pokémon events.” According to the official announcement, “Attendees can now select which events they’d like to be considered for.” Those who complete the process before 3 August will receive email notifications stating whether or not they have secured access to the activities they’ve registered interest for, with emails dispatched by 14 August. This approach has become standard at significant Pokémon events, and the 2026 show will continue the policy of prior years.

Highlights at this year’s Pokémon XP include the English-language debut of Yuka Morii’s latest TCG Manky card and the appearance of veteran artists, with each offering autograph opportunities on exclusive posters rather than trading cards. The pop-up Pokémon Center returns, providing fans with limited-edition goods within the Moscone Center for attendees and collectors.
