Grand Theft Auto 6 slips to late 2026 as GTA 5 quietly returns to PlayStation Plus

GTA 5 hasn’t been available for PS Plus members since Sony pulled it last year, making this return a big deal for anyone looking to revisit, or finally experience, Los Santos without having to buy the game outright.

If you’ve missed tearing up the streets of Los Santos, you won’t have to wait long to jump back in. GTA 5’s last stint on PS Plus ended in mid-2024, and while that absence didn’t go unnoticed, PlayStation users are about to get another chance to dive into the mayhem for free (well, if you’re subscribed to the right tier).
Dealabs hasn’t tipped off any other specific games joining the service with GTA 5, so for now, all eyes are on Rockstar’s mega-hit.
